Jelinek Cork Group Nominated For Business Excellence

Jelinek Cork Group has been nominated for The Oakville Awards for Business Excellence.  This prestigious award is dedicated to ”recognizing  exemplary models of excellence and community service”.  Jelinek Cork Group, along with Ford Motor Company, Laser Networks, and Zarpac Inc., was nominated in the manufacturing category.

“We are delighted to have been grouped in with such fine companies,” said Jay Jelinek, a VP at Jelinek Cork.  “We have always dedicated ourselves to delivering top quality products in the right quantities at the right price and at the right time.  We are pleased to be recognized and it is our enthusiastic working team that provides this high caliber of service to our customers.”

Jelinek Cork Group supply cork and related products throughout most of the world.  In the past year they have shipped products to 42 different countries. The head office and plant of Jelinek Cork Group has been located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada for over 55 years.  They have warehousing, distribution centers, and/or offices located in a number of other countries and regions including the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, UK, and the USA.

The Oakville Awards for Business Excellence is an annual program organized by The Rotary Club of Oakville West in association with the Oakville Chamber of Commerce.
