September 23, 2008: Sonny Jelinek was elected Vice Chair of Oakville Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday at the Chamber's Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Oakville Chamber boast over 35,000 member employees from more than 1,000 companies. Immediately after the AGM, the Chamber held it's 54th annual President's Dinner. Keynote speaker was the Honorable David Wilkins, United States Ambassador. The event included the first public launch of Jelinek's new "Jean Christoff" line of cork handbags and accessories.
