September 17, 2009: Sonny Jelinek was welcomed as the Chair of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce at the 55th annual Chair's Dinner. At Oakville's most prestigious business event of the year, the successes of the past year were celebrated, the outgoing Chair Aby Alameddine was thanked, the incoming Chair Sonny Jelinek was welcomed. Don Drummond, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of TD Bank Financial Group was the keynote speaker. Sonny Jelinek gave an excellent welcoming talk and even kept his aunt, Maria Jelinek, awake during it! Congratulations Sonny!
