Cork Blocks

Blocks produced from cork are used in a variety of applications. Due to the natural cork characteristics – soft, light weight, buoyant, smooth – it is the ideal material for many products.

Yoga cork blocks - The natural texture of cork provides for extra traction while the rounded corners and edges of the yoga blocks allow for added comfort and support during poses. Blocks can be branded and printed with names and logos. Sizes and shapes are either standard or custom made.

Carving cork blocks - Specifically formulated for carving and are one of the easiest carving  materials to work with. Ideal for use by both casual hobbyists or expert craftsmen and artisans, cork blocks allow for a high degree of carving and etching detail and accept painting and staining, as required. It is a favorite material for duck decoy carvers. Standard block size is 24” x 36” or 9” x 12” and in thicknesses of either 4” or 5” or 6”. Custom sizes are also available but are dependent on quantities.

Cork sanding blocks - The perfect carpenter’s helper. Light in weight, soft to the touch, gentle on sanding surfaces, and durable. Sandpaper easily holds to cork blocks. Contact us for custom sizing or quantity orders.

Cork ski waxing blocks - The preferred choice of cross country skiers for applying wax to skis. Wax is applied smoothly and evenly to skis without danger of scratching or other damage to ski surfaces. Blocks are durable yet gentle on hands with beveled upper edges allowing for firm grip.
