The game of darts is one of accuracy and precision. Besides skill, dart feathers need to remain “unruffled” and dart tips damage free.
There is perhaps no better protective dart board backer then cork to minimize possible damage
to darts as well as protection to the wall area around dart boards.

Jelinek Cork heavy density dart board backer sheets are designed to allow stray darts easy penetration without “bouncing” away and damaging the darts or injuring spectators. Sheets are
24” (approx. 600mm) x 36” (approx. 900mm) in
size and are a full 1” (25mm) thick. As many sheets as required can be butted together forming as large a backing area as needed.

Non-reflective cork will eliminate glare.
Easily stained to any desired color.
Self-sealing cork allows dart holes to close once darts removed.
Helps minimize damage to darts.
Protects walls surrounding dart boards.
Minimizes possibility of stray darts “bouncing” off backer.

Installation instructions: cork dart board backers are easily mounted using either screws, finishing nails or adhesives. Backer sheets can be mounted either directly to walls for permanent installation or first to plywood sheets forming a moveable backing board unit which can be hung in different locations as desired.
