Why does it not feel sealed once the sealant is applied?
The sealer actual impregnates the cork versus coating it which allows the cork to retain its properties and provide a non slip surface.
Do I need to reapply sealant?
We recommend a new coat of the sealer to be applied 1 time per year for optimal performance. It can be brushed on using a urethane roller and allowed to dry overnight.
Will it be hot on my feet?
The cork will remain cool to the touch. We recommend a lighter grout as the black may be warm while under the sun.
How does it stand up to fish guts/blood or red wine or other staining liquids?
AquaCork™ sealant will stand up to red wine and fish blood (as it is often used on fishing boats) as well as anything else that may spill on the Seacork. It doesn't take on smell and cleans easily
How is it sold?
AquaCork™ can be sold three ways:
You purchase components and do full install
You send template to JCG...we build floor, ship to you ready to be glued and sealed
We travel to you for full installation (per diem rate)
