For the past 150 years Jelinek Cork Group has been a supplier of cork for a varieties of industries. The fishing industry is one that has come to be synonymous with cork. Cork is an important component to creating the perfect custom fishing rod. Rod builders are familiar with natural cork rings cut directly from the renewable bark of a cork oak tree. Jelinek Cork understands the importance of uniformed quality that custom rod builders demand and therefore ring quality is very carefully selected and segregated to meet these strict standards. Overtime cork rings have evolved to include multiple categories of rings such as burled, rubber, and vative.

Burl and Rubber Cork Rings: Rubber cork rings are cork mixed with rubber content allow the ring to take on a variety of colors and densities. Burled cork is a combination of different sizes, shapes, and colored natural cork granules that are placed into a large form. These forms are subsequently cut down into cork rings.

Cork Floats

Floats are available in various shapes, sizes, weights, and finishes. They are the traditional floats used for decades by fishermen around the world.
