The possibilities are endless for creating designs with Cork Decor glue down floor tiles. In this instance, a standard tile was cut in half and the edges were beveled. Then installed using a herring bow pattern. The tile pattern is Traditional Pebble in an untreated tile. After the floor was installed, urethane was applied.

Jelinek Cork Decor Floors are available in a variety of designs and colors. These floor tiles can be arranged in different patterns to add style and creativity to any room. Cork Decor floors offer excellent sound absorption and acoustical values while providing warmth and atmosphere. Cork Decor floor tiles are available either with untreated surface finish to which flooring urethane (we recommend water based urethanes only) needs to be applied after installation, or pre-finished with urethane. Either case will bring pleasing results.

Cork flooring has been used successfully since the early 1900s. The courthouses in Manhattan had cork floors installed in 1930, and most are still in use today.

Due to the resilient, quiet nature of cork, many schools, libraries, offices, dining areas, museums, churches, and other commercial areas, continue to make cork floor their number one choice.
